Really bad experience – Started out great with the bell hop and the elevator servicers. I will also say that the hotel is very pretty. Outside of that had a bad experience. For one did not think there was a whole lot to do and you have to pay $80 per person to use the pool for a day that they advertise to you in the TV. Of course you don't find out till you get there about the charge. In addition, one of the night my fiancee was literally stalked and harassed by the hotel staff. I ended up with her crying uncontrollably in t... read more

OK Rooms, but Great Spa – I am a regular guest at the Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, and Aman properties and without the amazing spa this resort would only be on the map due to it's previous owners, the Vanderbilts. The hotel has seen better days and we were very unimpressed with the room's size and quality. The guests at this establishment are mainly retired citizens and the staff pays more attention to the surnames of their guests than their comfort. We decided to visit the Piano Bar in the evening where the music consisted o... read more

Grove Park Inn is world class We're locals and love to visit GPI for a drink or a night at the piano bar. My husband and I eat at the Blue Ridge Dinning room every Christmas Eve and of course we go see the gingerbread houses! We've been fortunate enough to spend a day at the spa too, and it was fabulous!! Definitely the prettiest spa I've ever seen!

Grove Park Inn has a wonderful birdhouse contest! I love joining their birdhouse contest with my clients! They are very receptive to the birdhouses we bring in and make us feel very special for creating the work of art!

pure luxury – If you haven't pampered yourself with a massage at the Grove Park Inn, then you are certainly missing out on one of the jewels of North Carolina. The Spa at Grove Park has been recognized all around the world. This is just one of the many reasons to visit Asheville.

Fantastic – My wife and I treated our family to the "Thanksgiving Package", 5 adults and 2 children. This is NOT Motel 6. Words could not possibly be sufficient to describe the experience. I have never seen so many happy hotel employees in my life. We were treated like royalty. The restaurants were all fantastic as was the entertainment. Though I have never been on a cruise, based on the description of cruise experiences from others this is like being on a cruise without the ocean. Even with the economy the way it is, the pl... read more

Sit on the great porch of this historic hotel and enjoy views of the Blue Ridge Mountains receding into the distance. – In Short Asheville, North Carolina, also known as Land of the Sky, is home to the Grove Park Inn. Built in 1913 from granite stones mined from Sunset Mountain, the resort overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains. Newly remodeled, the guestrooms combine modern amenities with old-fashioned charm. Nestled below the hotel is a 40,000-square-foot spa, which offers rest and relaxation in the form of masques, massage an... read more

Grove Park Inn Review – I stay at The Grove Park Inn (usually 2-5 days) as an ocassional stress-free get-away. The service and accomodations are stellar and the serene ambiance meets my needs for recouping from life's daily challenges. The staff are very serious in assuring their guests are well-cared for and often go beyond the call of duty. Sincerely, Peg Gurney

A Wonderous Resort – The view was so beautiful and peaceful. What was so appealing was the lobby. So huge with big fire places and lots of seating around and a bar that was very neat. You actually felt as if you have stop and went back to another world. The atmosphere is nostalgic. The rooms are furnished with antiques and the beds are great. I could really do a write up on the spa, so unbelieveable you would have to see it to believe it. It is like being in a Greek Palace. All the waterfalls in the hot tubs and it is all al... read more
