Beautiful scenery The Grove Park Inn in Asheville NC is truly an elegant and resplendent resort nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina providing world class service with the friendly mannerisms of a small town. MUY BUENO! The BEST authentic mexican place around. You won't find tourist food here - the tacos are REAL TACOS, right down to the soft corn tortillas and radish garnish. The quesadilla is not your taco-bell version either. The prices are very reasonable. Bring your appetite & discover Mexican food the way it was meant to be eaten.
La Costa, Brentwood's little Utopia Hands down the best taqueria in town. Prices are unbeatable. The quality of food is just what you expect for what you pay. Burritos are always huge, hot and heavenly. Take out or order onsite and your food is delivered quickly. The staff is always gracious and wants to take care of you. La Costa is the go to for good eats.
Grove Park Inn This was one of the nicest parts about our trip to Asheville. I loved the Grove Park Inn. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms in the main building and it was beautiful. The lobby is from another time and place with its huge fireplace and rocking chairs. We found a special price on the Internet and the price was great. I can't wait to come back again.
Cannot say enough good, wish to stay longer I wish we'd have had more than 4 days here. It really is a lovely hotel. Our suite very comfortably slept 4, and we would have had room to throw a party for about 30 in there.
Timeless Before December 2005, the last time I'd been to the Grove Park Inn was twenty years ago. Except for the spa, it seemed as if nothing had changed. And that's a good thing. Unlike the other reviewer, we were in a tiny room with an obstructed view, right next to the spa. Who cares? Who spends time in the room in a resort like this? Plus, just to let you know, in case you are traveling with an infant like we were, the GPI has really nice wooden cribs. Amazing, simply amazing The best resort I have been to in years. They have the most breathtaking views and courteous staff. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. They also host an amazing gingerbread house exhibit each winter that is a must see. Highly recommended!
