In 2015 Group XL replaced my roof. Just after 5 years of installation (outside of the warranty) shingles started getting pushed up by the nails on just one section of the roof. Had Group XL back to repair that part of the roof. Now in 2025 the roof is starting to leak in a couple of other places with no damage to the shingles. Three different roofing contractors have informed me the slow leaks are from a poor original installation of the roof. Carlos was very prompt to come and see my roof leak 1st thing in the morning when I called him. He diagnosed the issue right a way you can tell he knows his stuff. His pricing was ver fair, he explained matters well and kept us informed every step and his workers were very professional and polite.
Was in need of an emergency fix on our roof. Called Carlos and he came the same day within an hour. Very professional. His crew was friendly and hard working. Would highly recommend!
I never leave bad reviews, they have earned this. Do not let these people near your house; they are good sales people and that is all, the workmanship is terrible. They use almost exclusively sub-contractors and the full time staff they employ are NOT skilled labor. Carlos and Bob talk a good game, they are all show. Wow, I called for an estimate. Carlos said he would call me back never did. I called a couple days later, he said oh I tried calling you, I didn’t have miss calls or vm from him. He had someone come to measure our roof. It’s been about a month now and still now estimate or calls to see if still interested. Poor service, if the owner this bad on estimates would hate to see how they work or ever finish the job.
