I cant say enough great things about Groups my counselor Angie is the greatest she's so understanding and i can tell its not just a job to her she genuinely cares about her members, her and the members in my home group are my family its not like going to a Drs appointment ive never dreaded my groups sessions instead i look forward to talking to and listening to others about everyday struggles that comes along with being a recovering addict. Convenient and fits into my life. They understand the everyday in recovery.
I have had a good experience overall. The only thing I would have negative to say is when someone has legitimate medical reasons for severe pain, Suboxone does not help and then the patient is stuck because no other doctors will see them. Also, when it is mentioned in group, we are guided away from coming off Suboxone.
