I cant say enough great things about Groups my counselor Angie is the greatest she's so understanding and i can tell its not just a job to her she genuinely cares about her members, her and the members in my home group are my family its not like going to a Drs appointment ive never dreaded my groups sessions instead i look forward to talking to and listening to others about everyday struggles that comes along with being a recovering addict. Convenient and fits into my life. They understand the everyday in recovery.
I have had a good experience overall. The only thing I would have negative to say is when someone has legitimate medical reasons for severe pain, Suboxone does not help and then the patient is stuck because no other doctors will see them. Also, when it is mentioned in group, we are guided away from coming off Suboxone. I understand you all are there to make money, but there is also a human concept to caring about others and there should be more help when someone does need someone to say, “Hey- this person has legitimate issu... read more
I really love the way the staff & counselor's are just as caring as they are. I never feel judged or less than I guess, it helps when you are able to feel comfortable with your counselor & in your home group.
It's nice to have someone to talk to and especially my peers. I have been through too many counselors and Drs and I am no longer in a group with anyone from the Erlanger office.
