Groups has helped me in my journey to sobriety bye not only making it easy to access the resources I need to continue to remain sober it is also like a family. I look forward to our meetings each week because we form a bond with others in the group and also with the staff. They go above and beyond to help us meet our weekly goals without criticism. It's nice to know I am not alone in my recovery. If I can do it anyone can.

I am 68 years old. Due to two back surgeries, the second of which was a total failure performed by an incompetent doctor who ended up killing a patient during an operation I became addicted to various opiates. I was addicted to opiates for over 30 plus years. Because I became resistant to those opiates about 11 years ago I had a pain pump surgically implanted and towards the end I was receiving high doses of Dilaudid to help control my pain.
