We had supper at the Ground Round Grill and Bar in Brookings September 8, 2012. They have an extensive menu. American and Mexican food. My wife ate the Tuscan Salad Pasta for $11.99. She found it quite tasty but a little on the greasy side. I had the Jambalaya. A medley of shrimp, chicken pieces, and spicy sausage on a bed of rice, with fried onions and peppers. Very good and quite spicy. The price was $13.99. We drank Michelob on tab. 22oz of beer for $4.00 We recommended this restaurant.
I really like the pavilion. I go there at least once a week. They have fantastic junior BLT samwiches... I miss steak fries but the variety of soup is the best in town and I heard it is all home made by this Mike guy. Also the Days Inn there is a fantastic facility. I go there like 4 to 5 times a week and this girl Angela that helps me is so awesome, she is probably the best and most loyal employee ever. I also love French dips and salad bar.
