RecommendedAs I write this, I am sitting here waiting for my pizza for 38 minutes. I’ve got nothing better to do except sit here and write a bad review. Very unusual. Place not crowded. It took 5 minutes for the waitress to even come over. My wife’s glass of club soda had floating chunks of lettuce in it and what appeared to be greasy balls.
I haven't been to The Grotto since 1980. We were pleasantly surprised to find the place was still open. The pizza is as good as ever! Few people know how to make a good pizza where I live now. The service was friendly and fast and of course the pizza was amazing.
