I moved to 1 Grosvenor a couple of months ago and I couldn't be happier. This is, without a doubt, the best building I've lived in across my three buildings in London and I mean that sincerely. The west-facing balcony with its unobstructed view of the entirety of Western campus and Gibbons park is simply unmatched, especially on the upper floors. They were good initially, I liked the people in management, they were very active. But from the last one year, everything has gone downhill. This building had problem of bedbugs, cockroaches and the building is too old so there are frequent water shut offs, fire alarm drills, repairs, elevator closure for "maintenance", garbage chute closure, even equipment from the gym are removed to bare minimum. Misleading Promotion - 1 Grosvenor Street We referred friends to move to this building and we saw the $500 referral flyer. Our friends moved in on Feb 1, and staff told us they just needed to email to confirm — which they did. Afterward, management suddenly said we don’t qualify because the referral had to be submitted before approval. That was never clearly explained and contradicts what staff told us. My fiancé and I had the pleasure of touring the Grosvenor apartment building, and we were incredibly impressed. I unfortunately don’t remember the name of the staff member who showed us around, but he was extremely friendly, polite, and answered every single one of our questions. He even took the time to show us a couple of extra units, which we really appreciated. Every unit we saw was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. Poor tour booking experience. We called Homestead directly twice to schedule a tour and both times the people at the front desk had no idea we were coming for the booking. Something is not working between who you call and who you meet for a tour. When we were there, our tour guide was not welcoming, warm or selling the pace to us at all.
