The staff in the burn unit is wonderful for the most part. My last couple of days and my discharge were horrible however. Also the food service is awful. I did not have one single order that was right the entire time I was there for two weeks. If I did not have to go back for aftercare, I would never set foot in that hospital again.
I was admitted to the Behavioral Unit with severe anxiety and depression brought on by Oxycodone and Xanax use after a total hip replacement. I was admitted then evaluated and placed in the BHU at Cass Regional Hospital. I received great care in Sage Unit at Cass Regional Hospital. The unit had rules put into place for everyone's safety. It was clean and neat. The staff was amazing and so patient. It was where I needed to be. I was not rushed out, but was released when my anxiety was under control. Completely awful customer service on the phone when i was simply calling asking if my loved one was okay. They hung up on me 4 separate times. This was after I had drove up there and said i was unable to see him. Whoever is on shift on 9/30/2026 working at emergency front desk or who is answering the phone i would HIGHLY request looking into finding new people for your hospital. 0 stars if i could. Still HAVE NO IDEA what happened to my loved one or if he is okay.
