I came here only for a basic oil and filter change, and I was shocked by how much I was charged. They charged $59.95 for labor alone, and my total came to $151.90 for a simple oil change. I have had my oil changed at Walmart before, where the oil, filter, and service together were around $75. Paying $151.90 for essentially the same basic service is extremely expensive. I purchased my 2020 4Runner from Groove and I love it. I've also had my oil changes done at their service center for over 5 years and have always believed they did a great job; it's a basic and simple oil change, hard to mess up. Recently, I did my first oil change myself and discovered that they cross threaded and stripped my skid plate bolts, so I couldn't access the filter. I had to take it in to Groove for them to fix. I bought my car here and I’ve been coming here over four years and I’ve never been to any other shop, they lost services that I’ve done here in the system. Trying to say I didn’t do it here. I must’ve done it somewhere else and I’m like no I’ve never brought my car anywhere else and I have the paperwork at home. 1 star — Serious coolant issue and unacceptable response from Groove Toyota. My 2021 Camry SE was serviced at Groove Toyota. In Groove’s own service video, the technician states that he “topped off” the coolant. The attached dealership photo, however, shows no clearly visible pink coolant level. Our comparison photo, taken after we added Toyota-compatible pink coolant from a similar angle, shows the coolant plainly.
