Chose to try this place out based on reviews, but I did not have a great experience. Brought my cocker spaniel in for a full groom, talked about doing a 'light' shave, not down to the skin but taking a decent bit of hair off, and specified I wanted this done all over her body but could keep the ears longer. She came back looking like she barely got a trim anywhere besides her face, still with mats under her legs, belly, and the back of her legs. The hair on her feet was all uneven too. We’ve been bringing our dogs here for years, and we couldn’t be happier! Desiree does an amazing job every time, and our pups absolutely love coming here—they get so excited as soon as we pull up! The staff is kind, professional, and truly cares about the animals. Highly recommend!
This was the second, and most likely the last time we have taken our golden doodle here. The first experience we felt they did an okay job, so we decided to go again because the prices are better than most in Columbia. However, our boy has been completely buzzed when I had just asked for an all around trim, his hair is also very choppy, there are more then a few spots that the buzz was deep on his fur and they did not even it out, there is absolutely no blending either, especially around his his neck/head area. Asked for trim on a golden doodle and got a shave. Never asked for a shave or said anything about a shave. Any groomer that shaves a golden doodle has no place at a groomer. When I picked him up I didn’t say anything because I was completely flabbergasted as whether this was my dog. Would have gone ape at the ladies if I didn’t leave immediately.
