Terrible experience! I wish I could give NO star's to this flaky place. I made a grooming appointment for my 14 yr. old. jack russell terrier and brought her to Groomingdales last Saturday. When making the appt., I let the owner know that I wanted to get her in and out quickly due to her age. When I got there with my dog on Sat, he told me that he was having a "crazy" day and to bring my dog back on Monday if I wanted a faster appt.. Very bad establishment I let my West Highland White Terrier grow out his coat so that we could get him clipped in a Westy cut for Christmas. When I got to the shop I was shocked to see that my Westy had been shaved down with a Schnauzer cut. You've got to be really stupid to cut a pure white Westy into a Schnauzer cut and then have the nerve to make me pay for it. I was in tears. I'll never go back again. They really dropped the ball and someone who did not know how to clip a dog did the work on my Westy instead of the Westy... read more
Groomingdales did a good job on our cat Groomingdales did a good job on our cat. My wife and I took our cat to Groomingdales recently, and not only did they enjoy their experience there, but brought home our cat looking better than I've ever seen her look. Groomingdales... you rock!
Always satisfied I've been getting my Wheaten Terrier groomed there for 3+ years and have been very happy. She needs special shampoo which they accommodate and I don't have trouble getting an appointment, even last minute (maybe because they know me).
Grooming I have been going to Groomingdales for 7 years and have been excellent with my pets. I been very pleased with the excellent service for 7 years however, sometime they get very busy and they don't have my dogs done in time but that ok it worth the wait for the excellent grooming.
Consistently Good Service We've been taking our 2 dogs to Groomingdales for 3 years and have had consistently good care and service from the staff. Our dogs seem happy to return & the staff has been happy to help us with any special requests.
Mixed Review?!?! I have to say that I have taken my dogs to several places and they have always come out of it a little shaken and freaked out to go back. But since I have been taking them to Groomingdales I have NEVER had a problem with them not wanting to go back or being upset when I came to pick them up. I truly feel that they treat the dogs impeccably but...There have been a few times where we asked for the dogs to be done by a certain time or in a certain way and they "forgot" or whatever you want to call it.
