If you are looking for a groomer, go to Groom Masters. You can tell they love the animals. Think my dog keeps wanting to lay down to get his stomach rubbed while he is being groomed. My dog comes out happy and looking good. :)
We wouldn’t use anyone else. They love our dog as much as we do.
I love how personable they are! They are family owned which makes it 10 times better! Oh and my Piper looks amazing! Better than when she came from the corporate owned groomers.
Took my rescue dog in for his first grooming. He has sore raw spots on his underside & one behind an ear. He’s miserable, and won’t stop licking them.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience. Usually rescue dogs are matted. Behind the ears, where we tend to pet our dogs, and on the belly, where they can get pee mats, those are some of the worst spots that mat. If dogs are matted for too long, it will cause sores. We try to get off the mats, so the rescue dog can start fresh and clean. If your dog continues licking, I would recommend taking him to your vet and checking for allergies or dry skin. We have used Groom Masters for years and wouldn’t take our animals anywhere else. Ted and Phyllis do an amazing job and are kind and loving to our animals.
