I received their name as a potential prebuy inspection service. I had them inspect my Piper Archer and preform an annual inspection. They were slow and kept pushing me back for other customers it took almost 30 days. I called many times to ask when it would be done and kept getting a different date. Cessna 172N Skyhawk: The 2017 Annual was with Groh. The required INSPECTION, oil change, and spark plug replacements was the only maintenance performed. Took 21 days, Josh constantly slow leaks the progress and never can be nailed down to a completion date. He never called me to update progress, I always had to call him. This was the second and last annual to be done at Groh. Upon return to my hangar, thirty minutes away, there was oil running out the bottom of the airplane by the nose gear. I used Groh Aviation as my prebuy inspectior for my 72’ Cessna Cardinal last November. Their documentation and photo presentation was fantastic. I just went through my first annual inspection and my worst issue was a cracked header pipe ( after 43 hours of ownership). I’m not saying these guys can’t miss something, but between my local mechanic, and them they did a damn fine job of evaluating the aircraft, before I said yes.
