I remember years ago you could find clearance items to fill a cart but they realized people will buy it even if it is a few pennies less , now you are lucky to find acouple of things.
Grocery outlet is one of my preferred forest stores because of the bargain pricing and feeling that I am contributing to a less wasteful lifestyle by using products that could be disposed of if not consumed in a timely manner. We have bought a few products here that had expired before being removed from stock which was disappointing and has led us to feel the need to double check. Store is back on the rise, but for now, keep your receipt. Last year the ownership changed hands. It took them a while to learn how to keep things running in ship shape, and many dependable staff have departed. They're trying. It isn't quite what it used to be, but the new owners are getting the hang of it, and slowly turning it around in earnest.
