I used to love the Olympia Grocery Outlet until I was mistreated by the cashier and the store manager. The store issued me a card for being military and veteran. Upon receiving the card they checked all of my identifications. The card had no expiration date. But today when I went in the cashier refused to give Me the discount because my iD expired I showed her my other identifications to prove I was a veteran. But she said I needed my VA ID card. Great grocery store and I always find something new and interesting there, not to mention great prices even in organic items.
Horrible "customer service" from a manager (supposedly). Never will I step foot back in that store. I'll gladly spend my money at a good grocery store, where they appreciate and treat their customers well.
I have enjoyed this store for a few years. Truly able to save a few dollars but its becoming more difficult to leave the store feeling financially ahead. If I really search and willing to accept off brands...its good. But $4.49 for old Dave's killer bread? The prices seem to be increasing on a lot of merchandise to big store prices. I know, I could go down the road and pay the same or less for fresh but it was about the one stop shop.. The staff seems friendly and a few have been quite helpful.
