Never live here! I lived a single year at Griswold Estates Apartments in Auburn Indiana. Upon moving in (Jan. 31st 2020). We were not told anything about an extra day being 100$. We got a notice on our door on February 5th saying to pay rent or quit. We are extremely confused since we thought we had paid for everything. We contacted the office and they said “oh yeah! Great place to live! I've never had any problems , its quite, peaceful and the grounds always kept up! Very quick on repairing anything wrong!

Mediocre. Cheapest rent in the Area. The only payment options are to give them your bank account info or use Apple Pay. Normally I wouldn’t mind giving a trusted place my bank account info for payments, but they abused that privilege. They charged me twice for rent one month which made my account overdraft and I incurred a $68 fee. They refused to refund me that amount saying that “it was the banks fault for letting them charge twice”. Then for Apple Pay there’s a $16 fee you have to pay each time you pay your rent. Misleading The "air conditioning" is a window air conditioner put into the wall of the living room which basically does nothing for the bedrooms. The maintenance people do not really come unless you call the after-hours phone number. A lot of the tenants are questionable and I feel unsafe if my husband is not home. We lock our bedroom door as well just to be safe. Office staff does basically nothing about noise complaints.

Nice I have lived in quite a few apartments and I feel that this is one of the better ones. It's in a great location to access local events and activities. The buildings are kept up and cleaned once a week. If I have a request or a work order, management has been very responsive. They are also very friendly and helpful in the office. I feel comfortable having my child come and go on his bike or walk. The apartments are a good size and updated. All I can say is if you plan on moving here don't!!! This place will hit you coming an going all they care about is collecting money from you and not you as a resident. Washer an dryers are old an leave a permanent smell in your clothes. The hallways smell awful an are constantly dirty. Management is by far the worst I have ever come across. There is mold in the units an im sure so much more that im not even aware of!!!
