Update (6/2/19): after the second “repair”, the lawn mower failed again during its first use on a DRY lawn. Keep looking for a better lawn mower repair service. Grisham can’t be depended upon for competent service. I was disappointed with my experience. I’ll be going elsewhere next time I need work on lawn equipment. I dropped off a Toro 22” mower that had been bought two years ago new from Home Depot. The front wheel drive mechanism had quit working and it was generally in need of service. Called and got no answer, knocked on the door same thing. Saw someone at the shop tried to get his attention, 2 big dogs nearly jumped the inadequate fencing and just ended up leaving, not the way to run a business!
Josh Grisham and I went to high school together in Red Oak. I thought he would do right by me considering our history...but I was wrong. I own a tree service company in Waxahachie and it has taken me years to find a shop that is fairly priced, quick, and provides good service. I thought Grisham would be that shop...but I was wrong. I brought 5 machines to them and told them if the repair costs were less than the price of a comparable machine to go ahead and repair the machines.
