What a great place!!! Great Food, Beer and Music!! The Staff?,,, Excellent!!
I live 55 miles from the GVA Cafe, but with wonderful blues musicians being featured last night, I chose to make the drive and I am so happy I did! What a wonderful venue, offering good food (the gelato I had was particularly wonderful) in addition to the best music. The sound was good, the room comfortable, and packed, and the woman-owner very friendly and present. I will definitely go back whenever the music beckons. If you live closer, please check the place out for the food and ambiance!
Beautiful fun Cafe! Attended a great Chicago Bues show hosted by bluesman Ali Kumar, tonight. Welcoming owner, yummy gelato and great food. I'm looking forward to coming back for more music!
