Was not overly impressed. Ordered Chicken Caesar Salad and for $8.00 it was small. Hubby have Chicken Fried Steak and it tasted frozen pre-made beef patty and the mash potatoes were instant. So, overall we were very disappointed. Will not return.

RecommendedYelp came to the rescue again. Tried to find a good, locally owned place for breakfast and Grinders was the top recommendation. Friendly service, great food, and decent prices. Western omelette and grilled hasbrowns were tasty!

For a restaurant called Grinders, the coffee was terrible. Large flat screen televisions displaying advertisements is terribly cheesy and completely kills the ambiance of the “best cafe in Jacksonville.” The food was mediocre and overpriced. I would not recommend this cafe.
