Love this restaurant. Food is very good and the service has always been good.
I love Grimaldi's pizza. However, we did not have a good experience on Mother's day. We waited for at least ten minutes just to be helped by the host, who was MIA when we got there. After we were seated, we ordered pizza immediately, and then we waited for over an hour on Mother's day, after being told 45 minutes. We had to leave for another scheduled thing, and as we were leaving, we found out they had taken our pizza to the wrong table. If you want to wait OVER TWO HOURS for pizza this is your place. I placed an online order and showed up only a minute or two before they said it would be ready just to wait more than another half an hour. The manager was extremely rude to my child until we explained we were customers who had waited long past our pickup time. No recovery, just “oh, well it’ll be done in like 10 minutes.” Spoiler alert wasn’t 10 more minutes, it was much longer.
