been dreaming about a grilled cheese since i went here.
Best Grill in the town
This cozy restaurant is tucked in along Highway 20 and has a view of Clear Lake from the dining room. Their food is made to order and many of the entrees and drinks are house recipes. I would highly recommend the tomato bisque! The owners both spent time chatting with my family and shared their inspiration for their recipes. This small restaurant offers a lot of attention to detail in the food and service. I look forward to visiting Grilligan's Island again!
Im gonna start with the bad. They are closed on Sundays. That's it, that is all I got. It is a great place to go if you are looking for the small town feel and home-cooked taste you don't normally find in mainstream restaurants. My favorite of what I had has to be the clam chowder. I was expecting a typical chowder like you find in most places. Instead my taste buds were met with a chowder that reminded me of what you'd expect your grandmother to serve.
