Twice in two visits their techs managed to miss the vein in my are arm, and blow out the vein. Making both visits a waste of time. I was well hydrated, and had good hemoglobin/hematocrit levels, blood pressure, & pulse. In both cases I could see the nervousness and hesitation of the techs. Now, I have massive bruising on both arms. If you go, be prepared for them to screw-up, and send you home. They deal in mass numbers of donations, not quality of care. If this was a proper medical facility, I would rate it lower.
I used to donate here a year ago. Today i decided to start again so i booked an appointment for 3pm. Got here, did the questionnaire and signed in within 15mins. I waiting until 4pm nobody called me but everybody that came after me was already called in… I went to the receptionist myself, gave her my new SIN number she asked me to sit and wait a bit more so they can update it on their system. First time donating here and the experience has been great. Vieenna and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain every step of the process so I knew exactly what to expect. The facility is clean and the whole process was simple and much quicker than I thought it would be. Highly recommend!
I got to my appointment on time, but they skipped my name for check in, ended up waiting almost an hour than told there is a long line for screening. They did not bump me up in line even after skipping me for check in. Been going here a few years, and this is inexcusable service Been over a year and service is still very slow on Mondays
I had a lovely experience here. Jaime was my phlebotomist and she was quick and knowledgeable. I have nothing bad to say about this place. My partner has been going here for the past year. I have only recently been able to donate due to being postpartum. I was there for 2 hours and 15 minutes exactly. My donation time was around one hour. It’s 12 and I am still waiting on the deposit but I know it can take up to afternoon time. I am expecting 100$.
