I used to be a donor for a long time and the staff are very friendly and helpful... Especially Pallvi
I had another disappointing experience during my visit. One Nurse (Jan) spoke to me in a way that felt condescending, repeatedly asking the same questions and treating me as though I wasn’t capable of answering clearly. After answering multiple times, I was told to read the code of conduct, which felt inappropriate given the situation. When I brought this concern to management, I felt dismissed. Some employees should get proper training on how to communicate with clients without coming across as rude or disrespectful. And sometimes they should just focus on doing their job instead of trying to act like they’re smarter than everyone else.
Staff were incredibly rude at this center and made the whole experience way more anxiety inducing. Got treated much better at their second location in Edmonton.
Didn’t let me donate because my veins were small and “moving around”. Never once told me that was a possibility. Wasted 1.5 hours of my time with no compensation.
