I've been going to this location for about 3 year's total now (on and off) and it's almost always been a great experience. The staff is friendly and helps with any questions. The donation for me is normally right around 1 hour. My wife is normally closer to 45 minutes. As a college student it's always been super helpful to have the extra cash to either help with bills or be fun spending money. Currently it's 35 for the first donation and 75 for the second, resetting each week.
Everyone there was nice and very helpful for my first time donating. When I had complications, they helped me through them. 10/10
I’m hoping this review will help bring some needed change. The filters they use are bad. They clog very easily, and when they do it causes constant high return pressures, slowing your blood return significantly. I’ve now been back here 5 times since their machines upgrade, and I have experienced this twice and have seen 4 others donating around me have the same problem. Machines are very unreliable. I've been stuck donating for multiple hours with a malfunctioning machine. No one should be allowed to donate while the machines are this unreliable. How can we be expected to donate plasma if a donation might take an extra hour? Or if the machine might refuse to return a liter of blood randomly? I'm stuck in my seat right now, I've donated for years with almost no issues, and now I'm stuck here and the techs say they can't do anything but wait for the machine to start functioning.
