Sad this place fills people with lies. When you compare this place in Ocala vs CSL you spend usually between 45 min to 1 hours and 35 minutes just in the plasma extraction process. They tell you that you are the problem. I have a strict diet for more than 20 years absolutely no fat, minimum salt and no sugar, and multiple time they say is something in you. The process itself is pretty quick and easy. The staff are ok. Some can be a bit stand-offish but whatever. I was a new donor, donated twice and then got deferred with no explanation. I only knew because I attempted to do the health questionnaire in the app and it stopped me. I'm a nurse so I understand that they can't give info over the phone but a letter would have been nice. I have been donating for a little over a year. It has been an excellent experience knowing that my plasma is going out to help others who truly need and benefit from my plasma last year my mother in law became very ill due to an extremely rare illness if it weren't for plasma being administered to her whole she was admitted at the hospital. It saved her life,just knowing that if it weren't for the people who give there time and there plasma we could have lost her. I absolutely love coming here. The staff is super friendly, we all now know each other. This place is clean and on point with helping people!
I haven't came here since 2019 and the other day when i went. They said it was because it had to do with something with my tattoos. I haven't gotten a tattoo since then. How after all these years they say I can't donate. They didn't even give me a chance to explain it.
