I'm a first timer donating plasma, so I was a little nervous. From the moment I walked in the door, a you lady (Meghan) guided me through the entire process step by step. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my question and concerns. When realized I hadn't eating anything, she gave some lasagna, crackers and Gatorade. Haven't donated here in a few years after having multiple bad experiences. Figured I would come on back up here and give you guys another try as it's been quite a while and likely that staffing, care, attitudes and management would have stepped their game up. Boy, was I wrong. I entered the front and walked to the new donor desk area, where I was asked to have a seat there in front of the desk. Deffered because The tech milked my finger during the hemoglobin blood test, which techs are specifically trained NOT to do. Milking the finger forces tissue fluid into the blood drop, which throws off the reading and give false results — high or low. When I asked for a recheck, they refused. even though she messed up the blood pressure reading because of error and redid it and was fine.. the inaccurate technique was their error. Eveutime we try to call to see if my fiance can donate again, noone answers the phone. We have called multiple times on multiple days and noone answers. But he was told to call to make sure he can donate again.
this place hasn't had soap in the restroom this whole week I have came here. That's pathetic In a place such as this. I've very little complaints against the place other than no one using the restroom can properly practice safe hygiene. Like I said though other than that I have no complaints
