Dale May performed our annual heating system preventive checkup today. As always Dale was on time, and very professional. It is a pleasure to deal with Dale every year, he is my tech of choice when serving our heating system and a/c. Dale is an outstanding rep for Griffith Energy Service!
The technician Mike Carter was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He introduced himself as soon as the door was opened. Unfortunately I needed a new unit. Mike explained exactly what the problem was and what was needed. I appreciate how professional he was.
Sadly, I'm still waiting on service after an initial call 4 days ago (yes, really, I've been using space heaters for 4 days!) Repeated calls generate platitudes and attitudes but no action. 1) Having installed a new oil tank the summer of 2016, it was only discovered this week that the oil tank blocks access to the maintenance panel = NO Quality Assurance on inspected work. 2) Freezing weather = being told the tank replacement team doesn't work weekends so the tank can't be moved - wait until Monday. 3) Still using space hea... read more
I have purchased two heat pumps from Griffith. Excellent price and service. I would recommend Griffith to my friends. They are professional and dependable.
WORST COMPANY EVER. I have yet to have a pleasant conversation with them. It took me a month to set up an account. They told me I had to do something by law but I couldn't find any such federal or state laws that confirmed what they were telling me. I called 5 other propane companies to try and find out law Carl King was referring to. Not one of them could tell me. I learned that the propane tanks in my yard were essentially bombs. I used this company because they were able to come out the same day. The initial price was a bit high but I stuck with them because they were available. Setting up my account took an hour and I had to call them back. The tech arrived timely and was great. My fix required a part. I called them repeatedly to check on my part. I was told they would come out next day when pRt arrived. When I called for part, they had to track it down and then I was told they would be out in a week. Awesome company to deal with. I live at the beach and they are very timely and the best prices I could find!
They were very slow with setting up my new account. Talked very nasty to me. Overpriced for sure! Very rude and none of them had any compassion for my family being in the freezing cold! Will never go through Carl King again, just been more inconvenient then anything.
