This company is terrible. Very deceptive contracts. They will charge you two additional months of service when you try to cancel. I will never hire them again or recommend them to anyone.
My apartment complex conducted mandatory pest control and hired this company to service our apartment. The man showed up 05/08/2024 at 1:45 pm, we found out he wasnt even suppose to be on our floor that day and we wasnt on schedule. He asked if we have pets, which we do have two dogs, he asked what kind of dogs, we said Pit bulls and he said they are wusses ?? Straight up old man was insulting my family in my own house. I want to APOLOGIZE to Griffin for posting a bad review. The District Manager reached out and is helping me to ensure that the problems I had would NEVER happen again. I am VERY SORRY that I lost one of beloved pets but I will rehire them as long as we all work closely on the products used in my home and around my animals. They are a GOOD company and compassionate to what happened to me.
Unprofessional service. Their products did not even start to control my rodent problem even after 7 months. Could never speak to a supervisor about my complaint. Representatives will hang-up on you if you do not agree with them or if you in frustration you get loud. If you try to call back, they will not answer the phone. They give appointments and come hours to your house after business hours (They close at 6 pm. Sent technician to my house at 8 pm even though it was dark). We reached out to the customer on October 1st (the soonest a supervisor was back in the office as this call took place over the weekend). Provided the customer with a free call back service as was part of the plan she is on, she seemed satisfied and wante dto continue with her service.
Disreputable company. October 10th 2017 I paid Griffin $767 for their most complete pest control package. They came out and sprayed the eve and foundation then installed 16 refillable termite / carpenter ant plug bait traps in the ground near the foundation of my 1200 square foot home. Every quarter they would arrive and re spray for $105 each time. After a year they sent me an invoice for $300 to re bait the plugs. This is where I felt exploited. The $300 charge was not to re bait the termite stations. The $300 charge was for another year of service, which would include re-baiting the stations, if the customer so desired. If Mr. ***** did not wish to continue the service he would owe nothing. The Sentricon Always Active system is a leased system, not available to be purchased either in a store or on line. Griffin Pest Control completed a heat treatment bed bugs on my apartment home. Terrible communication, inspector left one of my bed pillows on the floor, postponed treatment, and then left a burn ring on a family heirloom oak dining room table. I am responsible to pay $1095 for the bed bug heat treatment. Griffin claimed no responsibility for the burn ring damage and stated in a letter that there was no way to prove this damage was done during the heat treatment. This person is a tenant at an apartment community we service. After the apartment community owners contracted with us to do the service, this tenant called and emailed us directly and repeatedly before the service was performed asking for a discount. Quite confusing to us, as this tenant was not paying us for the service to begin with and we couldn't understand on what grounds they were asking for a discount?
