Rick Berg and Goldmark are not friends of the environmentGoldmark Development Corporation. EPA alleged that these companies violated the Clean Water Act (CWA) by failing to apply for and obtain a storm water construction permit and by discharging storm water without a permit during construction of the Autumn Ridge Apartments in Grand Forks, N.D. The companies have agreed to pay a penalty of \$18,500.Now they want to drill for oil in the badlands

My experience has been horrible since they changed management. Failure to repair code required hydrants, thereby risking your life and property for profit.no snow removal, absurd refusal of upper managment including Kenneth Regan to return calls. Absolutely the worst place to live, in my opinion, in Fargo under its current management. When you do complain to the higher ups, you get some flunkie that will tell you lies to placate you. Dont move here. Nolen Keller.

A little bit spendy, but the location is great, close to everything in FM area. Staff is awesome. Many floorplans.

This rental office ruined my life. Ive rented two apartments from them. The first, was a location where the fire alarms were pulled at least weekly, forcing all the tenants to stand outside, even in cold months when there wasnt actually ever a fire. Most of the time, it was someone who burnt pizza, or some prankster. The second place I rented, was nice, and quieter, but I did not enjoy the lack of understanding and flexibility of the management.Their pet policies are insane, often requiring a huge deposit, plus extra money p... read more

I understand what you say about unprofessionalism. How about charging a young couple a fee to move in and check their credit, tell them they are approved than turn around and deny them because of the color of their skin...We are pursuing a suit against them. They used this young couple to get money and had no intentions in renting to them..But what they say what goes around comes around. Do not bother with this place.!

Maplewood Bend which is part of Goldmark... is a total joke.. just let me begin.. my boyfriend moved into this apartment and they reassured him that the carpet will be replaced when he moves out.. so no cleaning will be needed.. he moved out a month early because we wanted a new home together,, he did not break his lease and paid through the final month and we still got charged with early disconnection fees and carpet cleaning and apartment cleaning that was \$300! Of course we got a final bill after deposit of \$87! Serious... read more

I am a generally pretty easily pleased person, but this property management group was particularly bad. Amongst other issues, one rings noticeably inappropriate. In the last few months of living there, they want to show your apartment to potential renters. This is a little awkward, but especially so when they dont call ahead and have a key to your place. This happened three times, and I called and complained all three, going from respectfully understanding to downright irate. I do not recommend this place or Goldmark in gene... read more

They only allow vision systems cable and internet into there apartments. I moved out and called and canceled my cable and a month later noticed they where still pulling out the monthly bill out of my account. I called back and they said they had no record me canceling. They then called danbury to see my "move out date" so I could get money back and danbury told them the end of the month and I moved out on the 14th and cant even get half my bill back now. When we moved in they never told us that we could only use vision system... read more

There are many other better apartments around the same location for the same price. Danbury and Flickertail apartments are old and noisy. Had two false firealarms both around 11pm. Car got a dent. Check out process was painful and slow. Staff at Danbury and Goldmark are very unfriendly. Apartments being old there will be need for lot of maintenance. Request for maintenance was never addressed. I do NOT recommend these apartments.
