Dr. Grier helped me understand my personal dental health. I’ve never had a dentist take the time to talk with me like that. She answered my questions, she recommended healthy snacks like frozen pomegranate, and she found a throat infection that I didn’t feel until later in the day and prescribed a medication for it. I found her and her staff to be friendly, personable, and professional. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grier.
I had an unforgettably bad experience: like an episode from the Twilight Zone -surreal. I was in JAX for vacation & had a toothache, so I saw Dr. Grier. No one likes dentist appts, but I left this one in tears for the following reasons: 1.) Dr. G was friendly at first, but then became dramatic, treating me as though I had the worst teeth ever, and if I didn't start her treatment plan soon, I'd die or something. Excellent care, concern and patience with the patients. Had to go back twice to correct bite after crowns completed, but work was done well and doctor ensured me that my satisfaction was what mattered, not her time. The person doing the billing and the person making appointments were both pleasant and professional and demonstrated a genuine concern for me and other patients.
Debbie at the front desk is nice. But the rest of the staff extremely rude and unwilling to work with new patients. Gave me an oral cancer screening then afterwards told me I needed to sign a consent form! Shouldn't that have been done prior - she told me I didn't have a choice. Also, insurance has paid her, yet she keeps sending me bills and insisting I owe hundreds of dollars. Stay clear of here- plenty of other good dentists.
Dr. Grier and her staff did a great job with my 6 year old daughter! The hygienist was wonderful and they were able to see us quickly. Overall, a good experience!
I wish I would have gotten the same Dr. Grier that these other two patients did. From the moment I walked in and was rudely greeted with "I need you to move your car" instead of "Hi, how are you" I had a bad feeling. Then, Dr. Grier examined me for about 5 minutes and announced, "You don't floss your teeth." I do floss my teeth, daily, correctly, and use a Rotodent. She wouldn't listen to me, didn't seem to care that I have been in pain for 6 days, and then insinuated that it was "all in my head". I left in tears and will ne... read more
I've been a patient for years. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. This is a A+ practice.
My husband avoids dentists, and he loves her! She is thorough, careful and caring. If you can get in, she is the best in Jacksonville.
