I loved Greywind. The cocktail was beyond top notch. Well balanced, well made. The endive salad was very good - enough for two and also well balanced. The burger was recommended to me and it was luscious. I was accommodated to have it provided without the bun, so thank you for that suggestion. A wonderful meal, great host, attentive servers, a talented bartender and inviting atmosphere. It's a MUST to check out in NYC.
We visited greywind for an early Friday evening family dinner. The Cheez-its and bread were both a great hit with the kids. The fish and chips were on the dry side. Deserts were fantastic. Whilst we were eating a storm rolled in which meant we hung around longer than we would have normally. The staff were all great.
A fabulous evening with elevated wine and delectable dishes. Truly excellent.

Great service, kind and attentive without being overly solicitous. Started with the shrimp cocktail that had a ceviche-like feel to it - a delight! The sparkling rosé without that icky sour after taste was a surprise and paired very well with the shrimp dish. Then, I had a chicken Caesar with a miso-ish dressing, inventive and novel for something so ubiquitous on lunch menus.
