For those who’ve rented from Greystar in my opinion your should reach out to an attorney and file a class action suit. In my opinion they don’t care about the tenants or their staff. They care about how much money they can get! Look your hardest to find a local landlord and make sure it’s not owned and/or managed by GreyStar or any private equity firm for that matter , because in my opinion they don’t care about anything you do or say! Avana at Cumberland. Moved out due to having a stalker and felt concern for my safety. They threatened me with lawyers when it even stated in their lease agreement that by law I am able to brake a lease with proper documentation. they have me an extremely difficult time because of this. Upon moving out I had to paint my walls back and hired a painter to do this, I spent over $200 on supplies and a painter and they stated it just wasn’t good enough even though I was told I just needed to prime the walls.
