Over the last two years 550 Northridge has declined. Residents throw trash and liquor bottles in the landscaping and in the parking lot. Young tenants hang out in the parking lot and yell and scream late night and early a.m. I am repeatedly woken up by my upstairs neighbors stomping their feet and dragging furniture. Now people are urinating in the breezeway and no one does anything to clean it up. I am extremely disappointed and have decided to move to a different apartment complex owned by a more responsive owner.
I’ve been living at this complex for just three months, and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. For the past three weeks, the AC in my unit has been broken, and the temperature never drops below 80 degrees. I’ve been left sweating, exhausted, and even my cat stays in the closet just to escape the heat. Despite multiple requests and promises, nothing has been resolved. This is supposed to be a luxury apartment, but it’s far from it. I do not recommend this place if you value your comfort or safety.
This place has mold and the tenants (Gladys and Mercedes) here are not doing anything to help. They want me to pay for a transfer from a studio to one bedroom with an increase rate of 300 than what I’m currently paying monthly and pay 4 times the rent to break my lease. This is a horrible experience and the lack of empathy with the staff. No one asked for mold but they’re saying it’s my fault when it’s there. Woodstock Georgia Do not offer anything to residents when signing new yearly lease. If you want updated unit you have to go down to a smaller apartment. I have a 3 bedroom and was told when I signed my renewal for a year I would have to go down to a 2 bedroom in order to get updated new floors. They closed the pools because of bad tenants leaving messes instead of fining them they punish all of us by closing them.
