Buses almost never run on time, especially from New York City. The drivers and groundstaff can be unbelievably rude and arrogant. NEVER will you find anyone to take responsibility for delays or mistakes on the part of the company. DO NOT BOOK GREYHOUND BUSES.
It’s snowing!... You call to confirm that your bus hasn’t been canceled or delayed... you’re told “No you’re bus it still scheduled to leave on time”... You have your bus ticket, arrive on time and are told that your bus left EARLY (over 15-20 min) and you’re forced to wait (with your 2 young children) for the NEXT available bus going to your destination... oh it’s only 5 hours from now. FUCK GREYHOUND!
I hated it.. 3.5 hours delay... Boston to NYC, the driver was very arrogant. It is my first and last experience. Worst company ever! Do not buy tickets people. At least u wanna loose your shows and plans.
Greyhound Bus left my friend stranded in Newark! The bus left almost 10 minutes early without even opening door or announcing anything, leaving her and other ticketed passengers waiting at bus stop and stranded overnight in Newark. We didn't even know it was her bus since it was marked "St Louis, Missouri" and she was headed to South Jersey. Terrible customer service from driver, at station, and on the phone. Greyhound Bus just left almost 10 minutes early without even opening the door or announcing anything, leaving me and other people waiting at bus stop with tickets stranded overnight in Newark. It wasn't even clear that was the bus I should take, since I was headed to South Jersey and the bus was marked as heading to St. Louis, MO. Terrible customer service from driver, at station, and on the phone. They refused to issue a refund or replace the ticket. Never use Greyhound. Worst customer service ever. Greyhound Lines sucks!
The supervisor was NASTY. they over book sits & still take your money. My son 17 traveling to Albany the bus over packed no sits now I have to take him spend more money to catch a bus. UNITED AIRLINES... Newark is like a poor country & the workers treat people with no respect. But nothing will be done cause greyhound don't care about there passengers...
