We enjoyed staying here 1 night before heading to Skyline Drive. Perfect, easy location for entering Shenandoah National Park. No squiggly roads to travel! We stayed upstairs in the King Deluxe room. Keep in mind, there were stairs to carry EVERYTHING up...and then down again. Most rooms are on the main level. As long as the AC unit was in the "fan on always" mode, the change when the AC kicked in was barely noticeable. The AC cooled things well, but didn't take all the moisture out of the air. Awesome motel and so clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the nostalgia of staying here. The decorations in the renovations are amazing. We had everything we needed and slept wonderfully.

This is a renovated motel and they did a really great job with it! The location is perfect as well. Very well located to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the AT, Waynesboro and right in between Charlottesville and Staunton. It was quiet and we really liked what they did in the front with the fire pits, picnic tables, chairs and outdoor lights. They are pet friendly, which is extremely helpful.
