We checked in 9/18/25. There were no staff on site it was all contactless. I immediately emailed the lodge letting them know of a few issues. The TV did not work, the A/C unit only had one fan speed (maximum/high) so it was very loud and I had to turn it off so we could sleep. Amazing location right near the BRPW and Shenandoah NP! The motel is definitely cute, and the fire pits and common picnic areas are a nice touch. There is no front desk or staff member on site, so all questions go through their call/text line. My biggest gripe is that there are very bright light right outside of the room, and the curtains are nowhere near enough to block it out. It looked like it was about 7pm in our room all night. I totally understand the need for the light, but either A. invest in actual blackout curtains... read more
Great little gem! Very clean, recently renovated, comfortable beds. The fire pits and the little store were definitely an added bonus. I only wish there was a deadbolt on the door and that the fridge was a bit quieter. Definitely would visit again for the next trip
