We had a great experience here. The service was great and the management was very friendly. They went out of their way to help us. The rooms were nice and cozy. The area was quiet with beautiful views.
We wanted a place closer to a wedding venue (Veritas Vineyard) for one night, and Grey Pines popped up on the map. It was just the right fit for our family. What was once a roadside motel has been updated and refit into a “boutique” motel (think Airbnb with motel rooms). The rooms were modern, clean, and well-appointed. The self check in was a breeze. Location is great - so close to Shenandoah and just a few minutes away from Waynesboro. The check in process was very easy and the little shop on the side is such a cute idea. They have firewood available, s’mores tools, coffee, other drinks available there. There’s a cute little hike behind the building and some chairs and a fire pit out front. The room was clean, shower was genuinely incredible, and it was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Will definitely be back if we’re in the area.
Very nicely renovated rooms, super easy check-in process, and convenient location to several local wineries!
