Our stay at The Grey Hare Inn was absolutely unforgettable. Nestled on the beautiful Old Mission peninsula, the inn offers a truly picturesque and romantic escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Sarah and Dereck are incredible hosts—warm, attentive, and so easy to communicate with. We had an incredible first bnb experience at Sarah and Dereyck's place! Every morning, Sarah prepared amazing and nutritious breakfasts that truly made our stay special. Both Sarah and Dereyck were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location of the property was perfect—beautiful, quiet, and serene. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Although the Garden Room is quite small and lacks storage, we managed just fine. My bar for whether a place to stay is awesome is whether I would want to stay there again. Unquestionably I would stay here again. Peaceful and beautiful setting, comfortable and quiet classically-appointed rooms, and hosts who are friendly and committed to a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were obviously cooked from the heart and there was a lovely touch later in the day with port and fudge waiting for us when we returned from dinner.
