Beside manner is HORRIBLE. He is placing a port in my mother for her chemo treatments which is for palliative care, not curative which she is WELL AWARE OF but he felt the need to let her know that he couldn’t save her. Sir, you aren’t God so we don’t expect you to. Just do your job and put the port in. If you find it necessary to reiterate to people that they are dying there is a much nicer way to address that issue. Dr Kim cared for my mother several years ago. He is a gifted surgeon. My mothers case was complicated at age 85. Hospitalized for about a week with possible SBO ( small bowel obstruction) He repaired her abdominal wall as best he could, lots of previous scar tissue from a surgery in 2015. She recovered well! And at 87 is living life! Utmost respect for Dr Kim and his surgical skills.
Dr.Kim is a great doctor he explained everything to me asked me if I had any questions he's a very polite doctor those are hard to find today.. He did a great job on my chemo port surgery he's also going to be my surgeon for the removal of my chemo port coming up soon.
I was admitted to Sentara Careplex in Hpt. on 23rd ok Dr Kim did surgery on me small bowel never did he speak his bedside manners was NASTY I THOUGHT BECAUSE I WAS BLACK I PRAYED TO GOD , GUIDE TOUCH HIS HANDS, DELIVER HIM CAUSE THIS HIS JOB EVEN NICE NURSE 'S KNEW BUT THEY WERE SCARED NEED THEIR JOB I THANK YOU JESUS I LIVE , I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T WANT TO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM *& HE WAS THE NASTY DOC. SURGEON I EVER MET I PRAY NO COMPLICATIONS & PLEASE SIT DOWN MR KIM DR IS NOT YOUR CALLING NOW
