If you are researching and looking for a doctor to take care of your vision. Dr. Schmidt is the person you need to talk with. Our son who is disabled and had multiple issues to his eye was given the ability to see after 5 years of no vision. He had a very thick cataract as well as scar tissue from a previous incident that was not detected earlier. We consulted for a year with Dr. Schmidt and decided to have the surgery. I had very bad nerve pain in my finger for a couple of years. Dr. Schmidt performed a complicated dupatryn release surgery involving the nerve and a skin graft. I am now pain free and can use my finger again because of the excellent work he did!
I found Dr. Schmidt to be very kind, thorough & patient. I was really upset to find out he was not in my CareSource network & could not do my surgery but he made sure to find someone that could do it.
