I have seen Dr O area for almost 11 years for Melanoma he saved my live I am in remission when I called for a appointment I was told he would be gone indefinitely due to a family illness I just found out he has retired I’m so happy for him and wish him al the best of life his staff is amazing but I wish they would have told me upfront he retired but good for him

My husband was treated by Dr Obara for 5 years and 7 months. I cannot think of any other doctor I would have wanted co-leading our team (with the urologist). Dr Obara is first and foremost extremely qualified, capable and always professional. But I will say he made us feel like we were the most important patients he had. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with a growth at the base of my tongue. After six immunotherapy sessions with Dr Obara and some radiation therapy, as of now I am cancerfree. We will continue monitoring my progress. The entire process was easy and very rewarding.
