I’ve been a patient of Dr. Difelice since Feb 2024 when he did my initial evaluation. I opted for a primary repair after a thorough consultation and additional appts to feel good about the path forward. I came to Dr. D after another surgeon at HSS gave me an entire surgery plan without even done any imaging yet. A red flag 🚩to me that a doctor would make a plan without data… unlike Dr. Difelice who used the MRI to understand my exact tear type/location and build a surgery plan based off my knee. It was so great to feel that... read more

Very unprofessional. Terrible bedside manners. Prima Donna. Has a terrible reputation as told to me by several of his associates at HSS. Violated my Hippa rights. Certainly should have been brought up on disciplinary charges, but they have a code of silence. this is not someone I would want anywhere near my child’s pediatric surgery. Definitely get more than one opinion. You can do a lot better for the safety of your child. This is not someone I trust with my child. This isn’t this first time….

Had ACL reconstruction in 2018. By 2021, a different doctor told me that my ACL wasn't functioning. A week ago, the same ACL popped off completely and know I need to go through ACL surgery again. (My new Dr is a colleague of DiFelice and says he fixes several of DiFelice's former patients every month ) I called Dr DiFelice's office after the recent injury to make an appointment and they didn't return my call. ACL surgery is such a difficult thing to recover from, whether it is grafted repair or reattatchment; it really sucks... read more
