I was very scared due to having long- delayed treament on a condition that I would have ignored, even in pain. I didn't even have to go into what my issue was-he knew right away and assured me he will take care of it-engaging in a good-hearted manner that was calming and checking in every step of the way, of this nervous nelly, if I was alright with the process. I have another appt(s) with him and I am eager to see what he brings to the visit!
I left this practice in favor of another because I couldn't get my questions answered. After I was sent to get an orthotic, no one ever followed up to tell me how long to wait before getting another appointment. The doctor was never interested in discussing any treatment plans past the immediate next step. I requested a call or appointment to go over more questions I had after leaving my previous appointment and heard nothing for over two weeks. No one ever replied to the patient portal, I had to call.
Dr. Mac is the best podiatrist in the area. I recently returned to his practice after 7 years of not having any foot issues because of his great care years ago. I felt like I never left, Dr. Mac remembered me and knew immediately what was wrong. The office staff were so nice and very helpful with scheduling tests and appointments. I highly recommend this practice if you are having any kind of foot issues!
Dr. McNamara and his amazing staff are angels they go over and beyond for their patients. I don't know what we would have done without Dr. McNamara & Jenn and the rest of the staff. My son is a patient of theirs who has TBI (traumatic brain injury) it is so hard to find a doctor who will take on a patient that has so many medical issue and also be so caring for that patient too that is a rare find!! I have been a patient of Dr. McNamara's for over 20 years. I find him extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He has treated several different issues for me, and I'm always pleased with my care.
Disorganized and dysfunctional. Piss poor follow up on X-Rays and tests. His dog has free rein to roam into examine room, where he licks your wound and still has plenty of dog spittle for any other patients. Department of Health needs to shut this quack down.
I have had foot problems for more than 20 years due to major back problems in 1988. My only regret is not having seen Dr. McNamara years ago. I worked in healthcare in the Boston area and can say without a doubt I have receive much better care in my own backyard, and would urge anyone with foot problems to make an appt. ASAP both the Dr. an staff are outstanding. My feet are more comfortable than they have been in several years. I was told nothing could be done to improve my foot problems and Dr. McNamara proved them wrong.
