Very professional, ethical and knowledgeable doctor. I was in and out from my surgery in one hour.
I'm very grateful to Dr. Gregory Tsushima and the doctor's clinic assistant, Rebecca for the short noticed appointment granted for my Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal). I was very lucky that the Robotic device was available and Dr. Tsushima was panctual, very precise and professional! The prep was forever since it was a busy day at Cedars but the surgery was only 20 mins and super minimal invasive. My experience with Dr. Tsushima was nothing but positive. So positive that I’m basically looking for people with hernias to recommend him. After multiple tests, scans, and gp visits, Dr.T was able to diagnose not one but THREE hernias within 60 seconds. With a kind and chill demeanor, he explained very clearly my options. I opted for robotic laparoscopy and I’ve never felt better. When I was experiencing some pains afterwards, he was lightning fast to respond. Highly recommended.
Poor bedside manner and dismissive. Had a hernia and saw him along with my partner. Despite a ton of pain and ultrasound proof he said the pain was likely from something else or a muscle issue. Borderline rude but will give him credit for having a professional opinion. Save yourself a trip here and see Matthew Lublin if you have a hernia. Complete professional.
Terrible experience with Dr. Tsushima. All he did was just stand there across the examine room leaning on the sink looking scared, just starring at me as if waiting for me to explain why I should have his elite services as if I was low class to him. And then because of a miss understanding over procedure and a last minute request to be put under local instead of full anesthesia, He canceled on me and then made it so I can't reschedule with any of the other doctors in general surgery.
