Never seen this Doctor and through my insurance company denied a medicine that MY doctor prescribed. I do not know how he can make any determination without seeing and examining me.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Stepp last summer for a "Routine Annual Exam." In the exam I explained two abnormal health concerns I had been noticing, and that I had a history of anxiety which was worse at the time of the appointment. He recommended faith and a low dose of Prozac; then billed me for a "Psychiatric Evaluation"! I scheduled an Annual Exam which should have been covered under insurance, instead I was charged almost $400!

I drove to the west end of the beach to see this physician because he was one of the few primaries to take my insurance. I was suffering from viral meningitis (unknowingly) at the time and I needed a primary care physician to help direct my plan of care because I had no idea what was happening to me and neither did the emergency rooms.
