Dr. Velat’s is a highly skilled surgeon who is very caring and personable. I felt completely at ease with my surgery and he took very good care of me & my family. The whole experience from word go was excellent!!

I owe this man my life. I could not have asked for a better outcome after a L3-L4 Microdiscectomy. Dr. Velat and his team were beyond excellent and I don't have the words to describe how much relief the surgery provided. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Velat!!!

My wife fell and fractured her neck on Feb 21st. Dr. Velat instructed the ER doctor on the specific images he would need to help her and the discharge instructions told us to have her seen within 2 days. Dr. Velat subsequently canceled 2 visits and his office called to reschedule to mid-April. That would be over 2 months before an initial visit! This is a shameful way to treat a patient.

Dr.Velat was the best doctor I've ever been to. The doc did a 4 hour surgery on me, I couldn't walk . I'm walking and living my life again. He is kind,funny and he is a wonderful person. My insurance issues didn't phase him and he put ME 1st. He even cancelled one of his clinics to help me. I thank him, beyond words. He is THE king among kings, especially these days, he has been a blessing.

Dr. Velat is the one and only I would trust for my spine surgery. He has a true heart of gold to take care of all people who come to him. He is a true gentleman in the medical field, he listens and answers questions truthfully from his knowledge. He is one of the best.
Dr Velat is an exceptional doctor in his field. Very knowledgeable, extremely caring and always spends as much time as needed for your appt. You'll feel comfortable the second you meet him. Don't let his boyish looks confuse you. He's been practicing for 15 yrs and graduated w/ honors.
