A non-func, Pituitary macro-adenoma removed by Dr. Gerrars 23 yrs ago. He "accidentally" removed my Pituitary, and as a result I have had serious health conditions, including a stroke, that resulted in one clot, that broke into smaller 10 clots all over. I was left with Panhypopituitarism. Life on medications, having to fight & justify nec. medications to doctors and ins., having to PROVE why I need HGH & Testosterone. In June of 2023 I had a tumor removed from my spine. Dr. Gerras and his team at Kaiser were/are so amazing. Dr. Gerras explained the whole process before with my family and I and put us at ease. Throughout the pre and post op Dr. Gerras and his team were so professional, and always checking in on me. Thank you so much!

Dr. Gerras and Dr. Cueva were my doctors for both an acoustic neuroma and brain tumor surgery over 20+ years They were patient, kind and very good with dispensing both care and unfortunate. When I showed up with 2 grown sons and a husband on occasion, they were most patient. In the end I do have a rare form of Cancer and who knows what will be. I will choose them again with no hesitation and can say I went into my surgery with total confidence !

I was left with Panhypopituitarism. Life on medications, having to fight and justify necessary medications, all my life. Having to educate all of my physicians, because it's rare. Over 25 trips to the ER, basically on regular basis. Not a week goes by that I don't curse his name. He has a God complex, like most Neurosurgeons, and I'... read more
