Despite him being very busy he took time out to give us a call and talk to the issues that we had and was very kind and very accommodating.
Dr. Gambla, is very thorough, caring, knowledgeable and listens to his patients and takes the time to make sure his patients understand. Excellent Doctor!
Dr. Gambla first treated me as an emergency room patient where he was very thorough and informative on diagnosing my ulcers. He kept me informed of what was happening to me and inside of me during my hospital stay. The follow-up procedure weeks later at Illinois Endo Center was very pleasant and calming. They have a wonderful facility.

Dr. Gambla withholds prescription refills if he wants procedures done, everything from bloodwork, to colonoscopies, regardless of your financial situation. Holding a patient's prescriptions hostage is irresponsible medicine. Can't afford an upper/lower GI right now? Too bad, he's only going to refill your Rx for one more month.
