He helped my husband with hip replacement, and he did my knee surgery. Very thorough when talking you in what will happen during surgery and what to expect.
Dr. West may not sugar coat much, but that’s because he’s an army doc, he is about being efficient. He’ll give you everything you need to know, he makes himself available pre and post op, makes sure you and the one transporting you home knows what to expect. Blunt and sometimes brief, but knows his stuff, especially sports medicine-trauma. Fixed what a hack of a Dr. had done with an unstable intertrochanteric break I sustained.
