Have been a patient 30 plus years and would go to no one else for diagnosis, treatment or advice. A fantastic doctor who really cares about his patients.
I recently broke three of my fingers. I saw Dr. Degnan at Sentara RMH on Tuesday. He was so kind and answered all my questions. He gave me several options to try, including surgery. He didn't try to make me have surgery since I am 61 with severe osteoarthritis in my hands. His regular practice is in Charlottesville. I would, definitely, recommend him.
Dr. Degnan brings the "true" Marcus Welby, MD to life! Coming from a family of physicians, I would go no further. Wish our so called "modern" practicing physicians would take some lessons from him. Wish I could see him for other medical issues! He is the best!
For hand and foot visits, Dr Degnan has explained my conditions well, given me treatment options and been a positive professional. I trust him completely.
Dr. Degnan has been my Dr. for 20+ years. He is a wonderful, caring, and phenomenal Surgeon, Orthopedic Specialist! He also has taken care of my son these past 20 years, and given him greater use of his hand! Thankful for his expertise, and his friendship! We are blessed to have him, and you will be too!
Dr Degnan is a very positive and experienced doctor. I have trusted him with care of my Duchesne condition and overused tendons. Highly recommended.
