Gregory L. Freeman, MD, FACC, who joined Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio in 2006, hadn't always wanted to become a cardiologist. set out to be an oncologist it was my first love in medical school. Then I took a cardiology rotation and it all made perfect sense. I never looked back! Today, the best part of my job is the happy patient for whom the magic works someone who was maybe short of breath, had chest pain that we can treat successfully. Those moments for me are the most memorable.

He is the most personable and skilled cardiologist I’ve known (am 80 now), he solved an issue which had others stumped at my last hospitalization. He takes the time to listen????
I needed a last minute cardiac clearance for a surgical procedure. Dr. Freeman and his staff quickly responded and arranged for all clearance procedures to be done in 2 days. Fortunately, the results were all fine. Dr. Freeman and his staff were very professional, helpful and encouraging. I would highly recommend Dr. Freeman and if I should have any cardiac concerns, Dr. Freeman will be my cardiologist of chouce.
Dr. Freeman has the unique ability to make his patients feel relaxed. He is able to obtain health information in a conversational manner quickly without rushing through the visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Freeman. I feel he is one of the best in the field of Cardiology!
On numerous occasions he provided blatantly false information. It was hard to tell if the wrong information he provided was given because he is ignorant or if he simply decides to be overly dismissive towards some patients.

Dr. Freeman focuses on the total patient, paying particular attention to all that is said and unsaid. He is respectful and helping in his demeanor. He is easy to talk to, responsive to every question and empathetic with your needs. This physician is as knowledgeable as one could ask for. He has taught at the medical school and is often the cardiologist of preference for other physicians and their families. He can be trusted to give excellent care.

Dr Freeman is very straight forward about my health condition. He never makes me feel as if he is in a rush to see another patient. Very personable and easy to discuss any medical questons I may have for him. I highly recommend him for cardiology issues.
