My wife is in hospital right now and Dr. Almony is the cardiologist assigned to her case. He is extremely patient and caring. He explains what needs to be done in laymans terms. My wife and I feel very confident with his knowledge and expertise. His bedside manner is exceptional. Dr. Almony takes the time to engage with his patients.
Dr. Almony may be a competent physician, but the management of his practice is a mess. My father is his patient and I am responsible for driving my dad to appointments. In the 6 years my dad has been a patient of Dr. Almony, the doctor has NEVER ONCE kept the originally-scheduled appointment. Has has changed/delayed every appointment my dad has ever had. Provided an unrushed and thorough exam and consultation. He was very knowledgeable and comprehensive. This was my first visit with him since my prior doctor at the same office had moved. I chose to have Dr. Almony replace him and very glad I did. He was well prepared for my first visit and he had actually studied my prior history before the appointment. Dr. Almony is a terrific doctor who listens well and is very caring. He takes care of my elderly father and I trust him completely
Provides an unrushed and thorough exam and consultation. Exceptionally knowledgeable and comprehensive. Well prepared (this was my first visit and he had actually studied my history prior to the appointment). On time for the appointment and an excellent listener. He seems very proactive (thinking several steps ahead...not just what's on hand for the particular appointment (e.g., review of pre-test results). Good communication skills.
I appreciate the very thoughtful visits with Dr. Almony. Not only is he very through but he also has a very pleasant manner about him. He is very good at listening and then formulating a specific and solid treatment plan. The staff does a great job of following up as well.
