Dr. Nelson has been treating my eyes for glaucoma, high eye pressure, severe dry eyes & performed more than a few eye surgeries on me in the last several years. He has been working hard to keep me from going blind! He is extremely experienced, gentle, informative, thorough, friendly, & responds to all of my questions in a clear way. I see him every 3 months. I highly recommend him with zero hesitation!
Dr. Nelson has been managing my glaucoma for years now. He is thorough with the exams, takes time to explain changes and improvements to my condition, and treats patients as team members in managing their care. He is an excellent physician and gives back to the community on a global basis through charity work in India and Haiti. His staff is knowledgeable and efficient in prepping during my visits. I strongly recommend Dr. Nelson to family and friends.

We took my 97 year old dad to see Dr. Nelson about a cataract growing on one of his eyes which also has wet macular degeneration. Dr Nelson's technical staff were knowledgeable, well educated as well as kind and patient with my dad. After the results of the tests Dr. Nelson came in and assessed all the information and was through in his recommendation going forward, which we were comfortable with. Dr. Nelson offered to with my dad's retina specialist going forward. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson!
He is cautious but thorough. He listens to his patients and explains things thoroughly. Recommended by my internist when someone had injured my eye. Regular doctor now.
