We're new patients. I'm calling around looking for GI doctor, and I was trying to set up a consult with Dr. Polidori, but the lady was rude. Absolute turnoff. What a shame, I would have wanted to see Dr. Polidori because of his excellent ranking here.
I've been seeing Dr Polidori for about 15 years and been acquainted with his practice for about 10 more years. He is knowledgeable, professional, courteous, compassionate and skilled. When I asked a few of the Providence ER folks who they would recommend for colonoscopies, Dr. Polidori was high on the list (and another is one of his associates!). His office staff couldn't have been nicer in our interactions for appointments and preregistration for 3 colonoscopies he has performed for me.
Dr. Polidori is one of the most thoughtful, caring and competent GI doctors I have ever had. He cares deeply for all of his patients.
I have seen Dr. Gregg Polidori for over 20 years, for my hiatial hernia and acid reflux. I have had colonoscopies and endoscopies and medicine that helps me.He is kind, considerate and explains things well. He is a very knowledgeable and serious person.I would highly recommend him.
I wish all of my doctors were as kind and considerate as Dr. Polidori is. He truly cares about your well-being and does not rush your appointment. He explains every health issue you have or think you have and makes you feel at ease and calms your nerves. If I have a concern and call his office, he will contact me back as soon as he can. I have a hard time believing some of these negative comments, but to each their own. Dr. Polidori has known me for a short time as his patient and I can honestly say I have never had a doctor that truly cares and treats you like family. Going through recent health problems Dr. Polidori has been calm and very informative. He is honest and has amazingly fast communication if needed. In past years I found Dr. Polidari to be very nice. He has done my last 2 procedures. I just tried to schedule my 5 year colonoscopy and his office staff, the girl who schedules, was beyond rude and condescending. I was horrified. She said my insurance was terrible and was sooo condescending. I have never had a person with a doctors office talk to me the way she did. Nor have I had a problem with my insurance. Both my wife and I underwent colonoscopy with Dr. Polidori at Beaumont hospital in West Bloomfield and had a great (as great as this procedure can be) experience. Highly recommend and am now sending my son to have him looked at after Divert.
I was 20 min late to my appointment And he would not see me even though waited over an hour each appointment. Office staff is rude and condescending. Dr Polidori is very nice man but I never got anywhere with him as far as treatment. My condition has gotten progressively worse and he offered no information on how to treat. Eventually had to turn to my allergy dr for treatment
